Storm Jacket

Modern Studies staple jacket manufactured in 100% Italian Polyamide twill fabric with a DWR finish.

Technical information:

Storm cuffs and pockets, extended back neck flap and drawstring cord at the waist.

Lampo two-way centre front zip and 6876 Woodcut graphic chest print

When I designed this jacket in 2003 the idea behind it was to provide within the silhouette of a raincoat type jacket a more accessible and casual type of garment by utilising a classic Harrington and exaggerating its size.

68 JP 3 Sonora #5

Fifth edition of the iconic Six Eight Seven Six Sonora jacket which is also our first large scale “made to order” release.

A limited edition of 50 jackets were made at our premier outerwear manufacturer based in Iwate Japan.

Technical aspects:  Three layer 100% laminated nylon with seam taped interior & reverse coil zips

 

 

Modern Studies V Neck Nano tech Red

V Neck knit based on the classic school jumper which has been knitted utilising Schoeller Nano Technology yarn (70% Wool 30% Nylon) which has a stain resistant quality.

Manufactured in Scotland with signature embroidered representation of the classic 6876 Woodcut logo on the left sleeve.

68 JP 2.

The second production from our Made in Japan series is a micro needle cord shirt in 100% cotton and Mother of pearl buttons.

Details: Support panelled chest pocket and square panel elbow protection

Interior Panels and back yoke constructed with fine cotton poplin

The garment has been pre washed and is sized with a European grading system.

 Colours Taupe and Grey.

The 6876 Sweatshirt

The 6876 branded Font was created using a unique low tech woodblock technique  and originally represented as relief letterpress prints.

Although this has been interpreted for our woven garment labels from the inception of the brand as accurately as possible we have never digitised and created as a print artwork until now.

The 6876 T-shirt

In 1995 the 6876 branded Font was created using a unique low tech woodblock technique  and originally represented as relief letterpress prints.

Although this has been interpreted for our woven garment labels from the inception of the brand as accurately as possible we have never digitised and created as a print artwork until now.

Due to the popularity of our Japanese produced collaborative projects we decided to go one step further and develope our own product sourced and manufactured in Japan. Working with premium suppliers and longstanding 6876 contacts the 68 JP 1 shirt is the first garment in a series that the brand will be releasing over the coming seasons.

Manufactured in Japan.

Fabric:100% heavy cotton chambray and mother of pearl buttons.

Details:

Front: signature style centrally placed pocket and label

Back: Tab and box pleat

Cuff: Accentuated cuff tab and sewn down darts.

Modern studies season 1

First collection of Modern Studies the new project from Six Eight Seven Six.

This initial collection will subsequently increase in size for following seasons but the guest Artist which this season is Scott King will remain a constant.

The collection will be available at stores world wide but there will also be 6876 web exclusives only on available on our store.

MS-1 Storm Jacket

The Modern Studies project’s oversized interpretation of the “Harrington” style jacket manufactured in three Layer construction fabric with weatherproof membrane. (94% PA / 6% Spandex.)
